NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING FORT BEND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT SECOND FLOOR, FORT BEND COUNTY COURTHOUSE 401 JACKSON STREET, RICHMOND, TEXAS TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020 1:00 P.M. AGENDA


1.					Call to Order.

2.					Discuss and take all appropriate action on extension of the Declaration of Local Disaster for Public Health Emergency ordered by County Judge on March 12, 2020, to continue preventative measures regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

3.					Take all appropriate action on request to declare an emergency pursuant to Local Government Code Section 111.070(b) due to unforeseen conditions, to amend the budget and transfer the amount of $100,000 from the General Fund Balance into the COVID-19 project account to allocate funds for special measures required by the Coronavirus Pandemic.

4.					Clarify the creation of four additional positions in the Health & Human Services Department, pursuant to Commissioners Court action taken in the Special Meeting held on March 12, 2020, funding the additional staffing and resources from Non-Departmental Contingency, in accordance with the request for such action: Epidemiologist Program Manager, Grade 13 of the Public Health Policy Group Deputy Chief - Operations, Grade 15 of the Professional Management Policy Group Health Communications Specialist, Grade 12 of the Professional Management Policy Group; and Performance & Innovation Specialist, Grade 12 of the Professional Management Policy Group.

5.					Discuss and take all appropriate action to consider a temporary variance to the Fort Bend County Employee Policy 709, Sick Leave, effective immediately and continuing until rescinded by action of Commissioners Court due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
