B. Take all appropriate action on submission of the FY2022 UASI Grants Application Summary and Resolution to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, for Homeland Security Grant funding totaling $2,352,453 for programs described within the applications, with no cash match required by the County for the grant term of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

20. JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PCT. 4:

Take all appropriate action on transfer in the amount of $38,016 from Non-Departmental Contingency into Fees to allocate funds for additional personnel due to the increase in volume of case filings.

A. Take all appropriate action on Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Fort Bend County and Armko Industries, Inc. regarding multiple County building roof assessments in an amount not to exceed $90,000, effective through November 30, 2024. (Fund: Certificates of Obligation)

B. Take all appropriate action on FY2022 Agreements for Direct Services for the Prevention of Violence or Abuse/Neglect of a Child between Fort Bend County and the following Non-Profit Agencies, to provide services effective through December 30, 2022, funded by the Family Protection Fee, pursuant to Section 51.961 of the Texas Government Code: Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. in the amount of: $12,219.21; Child Advocates of Fort Bend Inc. in the amount of: $12,219.21; Fort Bend County Women's Center Inc. in the amount of: $12,219.21; and The Family Life and Community Resource Center in the amount of: $4,073.07.

C. Take all appropriate action on Bid 22-061 for Traffic Signal Installation for Grand Mission Boulevard at Bellaire Boulevard for Fort Bend County.

D. Take all appropriate action on Bid 22-068, term contract for purchase and hauling road materials.

E. Take all appropriate action to consider granting an exemption to the competitive bid process, as authorized by Local Government Code Section 262.024(a)(7) for the purchase of an item available from only one source, Wescam USA, Inc., for one (1) helicopter camera, in an amount not to exceed $385,000. F. Take all appropriate action on Bid 22-067 for fencing at the landfill for Fort Bend County.

G. Take all appropriate action on Second Amendment to Agreement between Fort Bend County and PS Lightwave, utilizing Choice Partners Purchasing Contract No. 21/031KN-50, for additional service of internet, ethernet and telephone services in the amount of $44,871.60 for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,885,457. H. Take all appropriate action on Agreement for Professional Engineering Services between Fort Bend County and RPS Infrastructure, Inc., pursuant to SOQ 14-025, in a total contract amount not to exceed $398,665, regarding Belknap Road Mobility Bond Project No. 17211, Precinct 3. (Fund: Mobility Bonds)

A. Take all appropriate action on request to ratify the Application for Participation in the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program for the Fiscal Year 2022 Texas Department of Transportation (STEP) Click It Or Ticket Mobilization in the amount of $12,820, with a local match of $3,260.88 required by Fort Bend County for a total project amount of $16,080.88 for the period of May 23, 2022 to June 5, 2022. (Fund: Sheriff Enforcement )

B. Take all appropriate action on request to ratify the Application for the FY2022 Texas Department of Transportation Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Mobilization Operation Slowdown in the amount of $6,970, with a local match required by Fort Bend County in the amount of $1,874.93, for a total project amount of $8,844.93 for the period of June 7, 2022 through June 21, 2022. Take all appropriate action on the adoption of Local Option Exemptions for the Fort Bend County General Fund property taxes for the 2022 Tax Year as follows, pursuant to Section 11.13(n) of the Texas Property Tax Code: Homestead Exemption: $5,000 or 20 percent (whichever is greater); and Over 65 Exemption: $100,000; or Disabled Person Exemption: $100,000.
