20. DISTRICT ATTORNEY:

A. Take all appropriate action on request for one additional position, Attorney II, Grade 15 of the Professional/Management Policy Group to fulfill the needs of the District Attorney Intake Division. (Fund: District Attorney)

B. Take all appropriate action on request for one additional position, Clerk II, Grade 6 of the Administrative/Clerical Policy Group, to fulfill the needs of the District Attorney Intake Division. (Fund: District Attorney)

C. Take all appropriate action on request to transfer the amount of $41,500 from Non-Departmental Contingency into Facilities to allocate funds for renovations to the Office of District Attorney as follows: $1,500 for the installation of a glass enclosure to secure the worthless check and diversion programs counter; $24,000 to expand the Intake Division into adjoining office space; and $16,000 to expand administrative space into an adjoining office.

B. Social Services: Take all appropriate action on additional funds in the amount of $977.55 offered by Reliant Energy to provide assistance to qualified residents under the 2018 Reliant CARE Program.

23. HOMELAND SECURITY & EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

Take all appropriate action on submission of the FY2019 Grant Application and Resolution to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, for Homeland Security Grant funding totaling $1,940,027.25 for programs described within the application, with no cash match required by the County for the grant term of September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.

24. LIBRARY:
