30. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Take all appropriate action on application to Texas Department of Transportation for Fiscal Year 2017 Section 5311 Rural Federal funds in the amount of $253,508 to assist with transportation programs, and a proposed local match of $122,219; authorize County Judge to execute all documents pertaining to the application; authorize the Grants Coordinator to electronically submit application. A. Take all appropriate action on request to create a new position, Deputy Assistant Purchasing Agent, Grade 13 of the Professional Management Policy Group, in the Purchasing Department, effective April 1, 2017, as approved by the Purchasing Board on February 22, 2017, and authorize funding from Non-Departmental Contingency.
