Take all appropriate action on Owner’s Ratification of Plat regarding Veranda, Section One, confirming that Fort Bend County, Texas, is the owner of a certain tract of land containing 4.707 acres located within the subdivision (right of way), as described in a deed dated July 6, 2016, recorded under Clerk’s File Number 2016072049 of the Fort Bend County Deed Records, Fort Bend County, Texas, and; record same in Official Public Records, Precinct 1.

19. HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES - SOCIAL SERVICES:

A. Take all appropriate action on letter from The George Foundation regarding the Fort Bend County Collaborative Information System Grant, to extend the timeframe for the grant until April 30, 2017, and allow the remaining funds of $6,894.64 to be carried over until that time.

B. Take all appropriate action on Application to The Henderson-Wessendorff Foundation for grant funding in the amount of $25,000 to continue the Fort Bend County Collaborative Information System program, with a cash match by Fort Bend County of $25,000 to support the Collaborative Program Coordinator; authorize Social Services to submit electronically submit the application. (Fund: FY 2017 Social Services)

C. Take all appropriate action on Application to United Way of Greater Houston for the 2017 United Way Veteran Services Grant, requesting $20,000 in grant funds to continue providing direct services to Women Veterans in a collaborative effort between Fort Bend County and Katy Christian Ministries, with no cash match required by the County.

D. Take all appropriate action on Memorandum of Understanding between Fort Bend County and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, for Social Services to continue assisting the community with online application assistance for State Health and Human Services Benefits Programs.

20. HUMAN RESOURCES:

A. Take all appropriate action on proposed compensation plan to comply with the Department of Labor Rule Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales and Computer Employees (Document No. 2016-11754, Document Citation 81 FR 32391), effective November 19, 2016.

B. Take all appropriate action on request to transfer the amount of $168,945 from FY 2017 Non-Departmental Contingency into accounts detailed on Director's form dated October 26, 2016, to allocate funds for the exemption proposal by Human Resources to comply with Department of Labor Rule Document No. 2016-11754.

C. Take all appropriate action on request for two new positions, Case Manager Specialist, Grade 9 of the Administrative Clerical Policy Group, in the Social Services Department, effective November 1, 2016. (Fund: Victims of Crime Act Formula Grant Program)

21. PURCHASING:

A. Take all appropriate action on Amendment to Agreement for Design/Build Repairs at Mission West Park between Fort Bend County and LL&F Construction Management, Inc., pursuant SOQ 16-093, for additional repairs in an amount not to exceed $8,329; total contract amount not to exceed $248,629. (Fund: 2015 Facilities Bond, Proposition 1)

B. Take all appropriate action on Agreement for Professional Engineering and Surveying Services between Fort Bend County and Kelly R. Kaluza & Associates, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $92,825 for Fairgrounds Parking Lot Paving Reconstruction and Drainage Improvements. (Fund: 2015 Facilities Bond, Proposition 2)

C. Take all appropriate action on Change Order No. 2 to the Agreement between Fort Bend County and Traf-Tex, Inc. to increase the scope of services by $14,705.37 for a total contract amount not to exceed $275,705.75 pursuant to Bid No. 16-041, construction of the traffic signal at Mason Road and Delta Lakes Drive, Precinct 4. D. Take all approved action on Addendum to Applied Information Master Cloud Services Agreement between Fort Bend County and Applied Information, Inc. for software services and approve the purchase of traffic signal licenses, service kits and preemption kits through Paradigm Traffic Systems for Road & Bridge, in an amount not to exceed $434,208 utilizing Buy Board Contract 432.13. E. Take all appropriate action on the purchase of one (1) Gradall XL4100 6X4 from ASCO at a cost of $373,021.68 utilizing Houston-Galveston Area Council Contract No. EM06-13. (Fund: Road & Bridge)

Take all appropriate action on request to transfer the amount of $434,208 as detailed on Auditor's form dated October 27, 2016 to allocate funds into project account for upgrades to the traffic control system.

Take all appropriate action on Modification Number 4 to Award No. G16HN0010A, to receive additional funds in the amount of $6,782.24 from the Executive Office of the President for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program, for a total award of $1,094,038.24 with no cash match by Fort Bend County for the term of January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2017.
