Take all appropriate action on Amended and Restated Non-Revenue and Discount Usage Policy for Fort Bend County Toll Roads.

A. HHS: Take all appropriate action on transfer in the amount of $8,000 from Contingency into Fees to allocation additional funds to Hernandez Funeral Home for transport services to UTMB Galveston rendered August and September 2014.

B. Emergency Medical Service: Take all appropriate action on renewal of Agreement between Fort Bend County and Benjamin E. Oei, M.D. to serve as Medical Director of Fort Bend County Emergency Medical Services for an amount not to exceed $30,000 effective through September 30, 2015. (Fund: Emergency Medical Service, Fees)

C. Emergency Medical Services: Take all appropriate action to approve transfer in the amount of $6,150 from Contingency to Fleeet Allocations to allocate additional funding for equipment of vehicles.

D. Social Services: Take all appropriate aciton on request to transfer $12,000 from Contingency into Public Assistance, to allocate funds for Emergency Assistance through the end of the FY14.

A. Take all appropriate action to authorize the County Judge to execute Fort Bend County’s Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS) Plan Authorization for the Plan Year 2015 and consider action on the following items: changes in the plan provisions for non-retirees; Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for retirees; and payment of a rate greater than the TCDRS required rate.

B. Take all appropriate action on request to create a New Position, Recovery & Integration Specialist, Grade 12 of the Public Health Policy Group, in the Behavioral Health Services, effective August 26, 2014. (Funding:1115 Waiver)

Take all appropriate action on Amendment #01 to Project Grant Agreement #51411F7184 from Texas Department of Transportation, adding FY14 Vehicle Revenue Mile and Census Impact funding to the grant for a new Federal total amount of $798,247 with $170,525 in local match funds and $106,268 in Transportation Development Credits (TDCs); and authorize County Judge to sign all documents related to the Agreement. (Fund: Public Transportation Grants)

C. Take all appropriate action on Project Grant Agreement #51511F7125 from Texas Department of Transportation for the second apportionment of FY13 Rural Section 5311 federal funding in the amount of $529,795 with $127,960 in local match funds and $51,510 in Transportation Development Credits (TDCs), and authorize County Judge to sign all documents related to the Agreement. (Fund: Public Transportation Grants)

D. Take all appropriate action on transfer in the amount of $92,039 as detailed on Director’s form dated August 19, 2014, to allocate funds for the County’s match to Texas Department of Transportation Grant Agreement 51511F7125 for rural transportation, as authorized by Commissioners Court on August 26, 2014.

Take all appropriate action on payment to Brazoria County for the Construction of Armstrong Road (Brazoria County Road 522) Bridge in the amount of $165,268.77, for reimbursement of expenses in an amount of one-half (50%) for final project cost of $610,537.77, less $140,000 paid by Fort Bend County during Fiscal Year 2013, Precinct 1. (Funding: Road & Bridge/Bridge Replacement)

SHERIFF'S OFFICE:

A. Take all appropriate action on continuation by Fort Bend County in the Texas Statewide Automated Victim Notification (VINE - Victim Information & Notification Everyday) Service (SAVNS), and approve Grant Contract No. 1554708 between the Office of the Attorney General and Fort Bend County effective September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015, with no cash match required by Fort Bend County.

B. Take all appropriate action on the Service Agreement between Fort Bend County and Appriss in the amount of $31,665.48 to continue maintenance for the Victim Notification program for the term of September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015, with no cash match required by Fort Bend County. (Fund: VINE Grant)

C. Take all appropriate action to ratify Grant Contract between Fort Bend County and the Office of the Attorney General, OAG Contract No. 1553932, to accept funds for the Victim Coordinator and Liaison Grant Program for the period of September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015 and authorize County Judge to sign all documents due by August 22, 2014.

D. Take all appropriate action on request for reimbursement by invoice transmittal in the amount of $32.44 to J. Howell for the purchase of a digital infrared thermometer during the course of an investigation. (Fund: Sheriff, Enforcement, Operating Supplies)

F. Take all appropriate action on payment by invoice transmital in the amount of $522.10 to Global Global Select at SGR for helicopter fuel, which was used to refuel the H.P.D. Helicopter that assisted in a narcotics investigation on August 19, 2014 and was purchased without a purchase order.

G. Take all appropriate action on request to accept the donation of two OH-58A helicopters (SN 71-20727 and 73-21889) as part of the Texas 1033 Military Surplus Property Program for use at the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office; and authorize County Judge to sign all documentation.
