Take all appropriate action on request to assign one 2003 Chevrolet 1500 Extended Cab Truck from Fleet Management as an addition to fleet for Facilities Maintenance.

A. Take all appropriate action on contract cancellation request by G & C Building Maintenance Services, Inc., for janitorial services at the Justice Center, pursuant to RFP 11-050, effective July 31, 2014 and authorize contract negotiations with McLemore Building Maintenance, the next highest evaluated firm.

B. Take all appropriate action on request for price increase and renewal of Bid 14-012, a Term Contract for Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation with S & C Construction Co., Inc.

C. Take all appropriate action on the Agreement for Professional Engineering Services between Fort Bend County and Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $150,000 for the extension of Spring Green Boulevard, Crossover Road and Cinco Trace Boulevard, Mobility Bond Project No. 13318, Precinct 3. (Fund: 2013 Mobility Bonds)

D. Take all appropriate action on Third Amendment to Service Level Agreement between Fort Bend County and GHG Corporation for an additional amount not to exceed $5,000 to increase the number of user licenses. (Fund: Treasurer)

E. Take all appropriate action on Change Order No 001 to the Contract between Fort Bend County and Generator Industries, pursuant to Bid 14-048, to increase the scope of services by $583.49 for a total contract amount not to exceed $68,462.48. (Fund: Capital Improvement Project)

F. Take all appropriate action to consider granting an exemption to the competitive bid process as authorized by Local Government Code §262.024 (a)(7) for the purchase of an item from only one source, for traffic control equipment from Trafficware Group, Inc. for FY 2014. (Fund: Road and Bridge)

G. Take all appropriate action to add security monitoring to Pinnacle Senior Center pursuant to Bid 10-028. (Fund: Facilities)

SHERIFF'S OFFICE:

A. Take all appropriate action on request for variance to the Fort Bend County Travel Policy to authorize payment to Holiday Inn Express in the amount of $718.68 for hotel accommodations purchased that were not within the guidelines detailed in the Fort Bend County Travel Policy. (Fund: Sheriff, Bailiff, Travel)

B. Take all appropriate action on the Modification Agreement # M-14-D79-O-000183 between the U.S. Department of Justice Joint Law Enforcement Operations Task Force and Fort Bend County for FY 2014 to add an additional $3,500 to the agreement approved by Commissioners Court on November 26, 2013, for Task Force Operations Overtime, with no cash match required by the County.

Authorize County Auditor to pay and release time sensitive bills on July 17, 2014, to be ratified by Commissioners Court on July 22, 2014.

Commissioners Court will meet in Closed Session to seek the advice of its attorney about pending or contemplated litigation; a settlement offer; or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to Commissioners Court under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

B. § 551.074. Personnel Matters. Commissioners Court will meet in Closed Session to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
